A Local Favorite in Perugia – Gusto Impasti & Sapori As frequent visitors to Perugia—spending nearly half the year here—my partner and I have discovered many local gems, but few stand out like Gusto Impasti & Sapori. It has quickly secured its place among our absolute favorites. Their pizza is, without question, my personal favorite in all of Perugia. Perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, it’s the kind of dish you find yourself craving again and again. Though the menu offers a range of tempting options, I often find it hard to stray from their pizza simply because it’s that good. That said, I’ve also sampled the burgers, which lean toward a gourmet style and are equally impressive—crafted with care, quality ingredients, and a flair for flavor that elevates them beyond your average offering. The staff deserves mention as well. Always warm, attentive, and welcoming, they consistently add to the overall dining experience. It’s clear the team takes pride in both the food and the service. I look forward to exploring more of the menu over time, and truly hope this restaurant continues to thrive for years to come. Highly recommended for anyone visiting or living in Perugia—this is a spot worth returning to.

This is the best pizza I have had on my Italy trip yet! I went for the Carbonara pizza. Dough is excellent! Will definitely return. Great service too!
